Where Are My Tasks?

To locate your tasks, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your BoardX account.

  2. Click on Tasks in the left-hand navigation bar. This will take you to the Task Centre, where all your assigned tasks are neatly organised.

Task List Categories

Once in the Task Centre, you will find your tasks grouped into the following categories:

  • Policy Tasks: These are tasks created within the BoardX Policies and Contracts Workspace, often related to policy updates or contractual agreements.

  • Meeting Tasks: Tasks assigned by meeting administrators, usually derived from meeting minutes (e.g., action points or follow-ups).

  • Compliance Tasks: Tasks linked to compliance requirements and generated from various compliance workflows.

  • Onboarding Tasks: Tasks designed to guide you through your onboarding process. For more detailed guidance, refer to How to Complete Different Types of Onboarding Tasks.

  • General Tasks: Tasks are created manually by administrators for a variety of purposes, such as reminders or one-off actions.

Each category is clearly labelled, making it easy to navigate and prioritise your responsibilities.

How to Complete Your Tasks

Completing tasks is straightforward. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Select the Task:

    • Click on the task you wish to complete. This will open the task details page.

  2. Review Task Details:

    • Carefully read the task description to understand what is required. If any documents or additional information are attached, take the time to review them thoroughly.

  3. Complete or Reject the Task:

    • In the top-right corner of the task page, you will see buttons to either complete or reject the task. Choose the appropriate action based on your progress.

  4. Leave Comments:

    • Use the comment section to provide updates, share thoughts, or ask for clarification. Clear communication ensures tasks are completed effectively.

  5. Attach Supporting Files:

    • If required, upload any supporting documents or evidence as proof of task completion. This is especially useful for compliance or policy-related tasks.

Helpful Tips for Task Management

  • Prioritise Your Tasks: Focus on tasks with upcoming deadlines or high importance first.

  • Stay Organised: Regularly check the Task Centre to stay on top of your responsibilities.

  • Seek Clarification: If a task is unclear, don’t hesitate to leave a comment or contact the task administrator for further guidance.
